The Model 5106 can be used for applications similar to the 5103, but its lower frequency signal penetrates deeper (down to 9 M) for geotechnical applications.

Identify geological features such as bedrock, groundwater and boulder prior to excavation.
Map landfills, burial trenches and filled-in waste lagoons on environmental site assessment projects.
