Used 1/4" Stainless Steel stakes employed in resistivity surveys. 14" long with 1/2" shelf welded to hold take-out from multiple-electrode cabling. Additional point welded to hold spring.

Stakes have one or more small kinks which make them un-presentable for rent, but are very useable if hammered with care. Sold as-is without springs. $10 each.
